Tools for Teacher Organization I have to have extra copies to share with my director and my assistants – so my “formal” plans will be done on my computer and won’t be written on the planner’s pages. I keep a lesson plan outline on my computer that’s specific to my classroom schedule. I printed the pages I needed, hole punched them, added some tabs, then put them in the binder. I love that idea too, but I’m just using what I already have at home. She details how to do that on her planner info page. For the printable teacher planner, Melissa loved the disc binding system. I got that planner bound at my local copy-and-print store because I knew the pages would be static. Like I said before, I bought Melissa’s mid-year blog planner and love it. Melissa pretty much covered all the bases! She has a complete list of what’s included on her site. She also included two versions of lesson plan outlines. The planner also has pages for all those little things teachers need to know – allergies, student information, transportation schedule, seating chart, class list, kiddos’ birthdays, sub information, etc. For each month, there’s a cover sheet, a monthly calendar, and weekly calendars.
